Does anyone here just use
Black white and base coat and mix them to create highlights and shadows?
I have been thinking about why we use other colors to highlight, i mean highlighting red, i often go to orange or pink.
But why don't we just mix in white or black to create shadows or highlights?

We do, well I do anyway.

I'm not an expert but with my highlighting I generally drop some white into my base coat and work from there.

Shadows my black primar takes care off, and also a good ol' wash.
