Hey, don't know if this is the part of the forum to do this or if I can at all here (in which case mods feel free to lock/move it) but I was thinking of getting my sister a game for Christmas which both of us can play during the winter break on the PS3. Are there any particular suggestions on what co-op split-screen games would be good in particular?

Oh and I also already have these games co-op wise for the PS3:

Resistance 2 and 3
Killzone 3
Hunted
Army of 2 (all versions)
Dead Nation
Borderlands
Warhawk/Starhawk

I heard that Uncharted 3 has some co-op splitscreen, though apparently not for campaign. Are the co-op missions/online multiplayer good enough to warrant buying it?

(Competitive up to 4 player brawler stuff is alright too.)

Little Big Planet (1-2-Karting) are fun and active communities allowing new things all the time.

I just got LEGO Marvel Super Heroes to play with my lady and it is fun (150+ characters?!).

Dungeon Defenders was also good fun in a silly way: action + tower defense.

(Borderlands 2 also good if you meant you only have the first.)

Farcry 3 has an entertaining enough split screen mode if you are interested in playing the single player game. It is very much not worth it for split screen focus though.

Yeah, I've tried the Farcry 3 split-screen and wasn't really impressed (though it probably didn't help my cousin kicked my ass for every time there was the racing-get-the-bombs mission ).

I was thinking about Borderlands 2 and I saw its substantial change over the first one but I don't know if she'll like it given the disappointment of the first one for her (which was pretty bare bones in terms of story/content).

Does Little Big Planet Karting have up to 4-player splitscreen? I know the other first 2 allow up to 4 players on the same screen but I don't know about Karting in particular.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I'll be looking into a couple and see what I can come up with.

My lady and I found Borderlands 2 a HUGE improvement.
Especially in terms of story - there is actually a bad guy this time, and you will want to take him out.
^^

I don't really recall if LBPK is 4 player. I shall check when I get home.

editing to add:
Not home yet, but a brief search indicates it does splitscreen with 4 players.

Not the best racing game, most certainly, but fun and it has tons of tracks.

Also, we did not play even all of BL1, but have been playing BL2 since we pre-ordered it and still bought this year's Halloween DLC.
