Hi all,

I'm thinking of starting a small Iron Warriors warband, as I really like their fluff. To start of with, i'm starting small. It's slightly over 500 points and probably needs some refinement:

Chaos Sorcerer
10 man cultist squad
8x Chaos Marines with Rhino
5 man havoc squad with 2x auto cannons and 2x missile launchers
Vindicator with siege shield and combi-bolter

It's 519 points at the moment, and I've got no clue on what to put on the Chaos sorcerer, or if I should use him instead of the Lord. The basic plan is cultists go to ground and hide, Sorcerer goes with the marines in a rhino forward, havocs sit tight and do what they can, and the vindicator leads the way with the rhino following.

Is this a good start or am I off the mark? What's the best way to expand in the future?

Hey man, at this points level I would probably take marines over cultists as your not going to be playing objective heavy games which is what they are used for, (camping objectives) if take 2 small marine squad with a special weapon in each, flamer/plasma and I would also either put 4 auto cannons or 4 missles in your havocs, try not to mismatch as you get better reliability out of them if you don't.
