we are a group of gamers from Bristol and we have subscribed (and paid) few weeks ago to a tournament advertised here on Dakka called "Eye of Terra" and organised by a group called Wiltshire Wargames (http://www.wiltshirewargames.co.uk/) to take place on the 24th November 2013 in Swindon. As no communication had taken place on the thread on this forum for over 3 weeks, I made a couple of enquires about the status of the tournament on their facebook website.

On the 26th I received a response on their facebook site that the tournament was still taking place... but since then the facebook site has diseappered as well as the thread on this forum and the email they provided is not working anymore. We tried to contact the guy (called Seb Parsons) several times on the provided mobile phone but none ever picked up the phone. Also we checked at the venue provided in the pack and they dont know anything about the tournament.

We are now seriously worried we have been swindled. Is there anyone else around who is in the same situation?

Also if anyone knows personally the Wiltshire Wargames organisers could please tell them to get in touch ASAP as, considering how things are, we are keen to have our money back.

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have bought 4 tickets for the event and we didn't twig anything was wrong until we tried to submit lists. Since then I've also found that he is uncontactable. Get in touch and we can discuss.

I'd be interested to hear how this turns out, as I almost bought a ticket for this tournament and was thinking of going to their next tournament in 2014.

Also their website (http://www.wiltshirewargames.co.uk/) is now down :(

@Rathstar: the tournament didnt happen and we never got out money back so I would stay away from anything these guys organise. I would like them to do something so I can turn up for a kind face to face discussion about my stolen money!
