I just purchased a Daemon prince basically cause they look Badass and i have wanted to model one for awhile now and am wondering now about actually starting a strictly Khorne daemon army kinda centered around him, i havent purchased the codex yet cause i wanna find out about the army and kinda what itll look like before dropping loads of cash on the models. so if someone could kinda help me out and lay out maybe a all around list maybe or just kinda give me some info on them id greatly appreciate it, im planning on modeling him with the wings and sword if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Well, khorne lists are basically all about close combat, so your army wants to be fast and powerful in close combat, but still have some fire support. The way I look at it, you can go one of two ways with a khorne daemon list:

1 Flying Monstrous Creatures
2 standard

the first list would compose of a bloodthrister and 3 daemon princes with wings, power armor, and some gifts. The whole idea would to avoid getting them tar-pitted and keep them killing infantry and using their smash special attack to kill anything, even AV14 vehicles pretty easily. You'd need to watch out for them getting instant killed.

the second list would consist of bloodletters, fleshhounds, juggernaughts, and other khorny things deepstriking in/running across the board while being supported by fire from soul grinders and skull cannons. Heralds are powerful with this list.

Both lists have their strengths, but the first list seems to be the flavor of the month. Very powerful right now, but who knows how flying monstrous creatures will be in 7th edition?
