Hey guys, Iv just moved to a new area and the local GW is about to kick off a new campaign which needs three different army lists at different points values, as its my first time at the new store i want to start well,
the points limits are 750, 1250, 2000

750 point list

HQ- Farseer
Troop-ten guardians with shuriken catapult
Troop- ten guardians with shuriken catapult
Transport- Wave Serpent with Scatter lasers
Transport- Wave Serpent with Scatter lasers
Fast Attack- Vyper with Shuriken Cannon and Scatter Laser


1250 list

As above with
HQ- Spiritseer
Troops- Wraithguard (5)
Transport- Wave Serpent with Scatter lasers
Heavy Support- Wraithknight with Scatter laser

2000 point list

as above with
Troop- ten Dire Avengers, with exarch with Disarming Strike
Transport- Wave Serpent with Scatter lasers

I have 480 points to play with to get up to 2000 points, what do you guys think?


I am thinking about one of the flyers, and maybe war walkers, but am also open to allies if anyone sees any glaring gaps in my force

Well, the 750 pt list looks quite good. I'm not a fan of Wraithguard since they are overrated. I'd take a naked WK and let him guided by the Farseer who should get a jetbike at higher pt levels. Warwalkers are one of the best units in the game.

I priced things up wrong giving me 130 additional points to play with at the 750 so revised listing is currently

leaving 123 points, im tempted to drop the scatter lasers on a war walker to fit in a Crimson hunter, but not sure its worthwhile without also finding the points for the exarch upgrade

Also is the Farseer going to be survivable enough, there are some nice upgrades for him/her

If i drop the scatter lasers on a war walker i can fit a crimson hunter in, my worry is intercept weapons are going to shred the armour,

would be interested to hear the communities opinions on that
