So after having about 8 months of not playing due to moving countries, I've finally got a game at my local GW this saturday. I'm playing Eldar and I have DEldar allies, but at 1000 points I'm not thinking of including allies. Being my first game in a while I'm thinking of running the first list this week and then buying a bit more stuff later to run the 2nd list another time. But I would like some feedback as to what tactics I could employ or whether I'm just going to get annihilated.
So I present to you 2 lists. The fist is admittedly not very strong, but it's with the models that I have (and like) and I would only need to buy the wraithguard. Here it is:

998 points

HQ:
-Spiritseer (70)
TROOPS:
-10 Dire Avengers (130)
-5 Wraithguard (160)
-Wave Serpent with Shurican, TL Scatter Lasers (130)
ELITES:
-5 Harlequins with 2 Kisses, Troupe Master and Shadow Seer (148)
FA:
-3 Vypers with 3 Shuricans and 3 Star Cannons (195)
HS:
-Wraithlord with Ghost Glaive, 2 Bright Lances (165)

The second list would require me to spend much more money all in one go (I don't have the Autarch, Wraithguard, 2nd Serpent, or Rangers), but I think it's significantly more powerful, less fragile and more flexible:

1000 points

HQ:
-Autarch with Jetbike, Mantle, Laser Lance, Banshee Mask (140)
-Spiritseer (70)
Troops:
-5 Rangers (60)
-5 Wraithguard (160)
-Wave Serpent with Shurican, TL Scatter Lasers (130)
-10 Dire Avengers (130)
-Wave Serpent with Shurican, TL Scatter Lasers (130)
FA:
-3 Vypers with 3 Shuricans (180)

For things to possibly include I have in addition:
A squad of 9 Harlies in total,
2 Wraithlords, one with Lances and one with Scatter Lasers,
An Archon,
9 Kabalites with a Raider,
5 Incubi in a Venom,
A Ravager with Lances.

Thanks for reading and for any replies!

Just come up with another option, it would be great to get any advice on any of these lists.

-Shadowseer (70)
-Archon w/ Venom Blade, Blast Pistol, Haywire Grenades, Shadowfield (115)

-5 Rangers (60)
-10 Dire Avengers (130)
-Wave Serpent w/ TL Scatter Laser, Shurican (130)
-9 Kabalite Warriors w/ Blaster (96)
-Raider w/ Splinter Racks, Flickerfield, Nightshield (90)

-3 Vypers w/ 3 Shuricans (180)

-Ravager w/ Lances, Fickerfield, Nightshield (125)

Cheers!

Ditch the rangers for some Guardians or more Dire Avengers. Rangers don't do much besides capturing points. They don't have a lot of firepower. I'd also suggest to change the Vypers for War Walkers.
Considering the first list a squad of 5 Harlequins won't do much either. You need to take them in bigger squads and even then they are pretty easy to kill.
Can't say anything about DE allies because I'm not really up to speed with DE in this or any editions.

Cheers for the reply. I agree with what you're saying, however a lot of it depends on the models I already have, as I'm not really keen to go and buy loads more stuff.

I was thinking of using the Rangers just to sit on my home objective really, or maybe outflank late in the game to get linebreaker. Then using scoring wraithguard and DAs for midfield objectives.

You've got a good point about the Harlequins though, just 5 of them seems really flimsy and expensive points-wise!

Then I think you should go with your third list, it looks pretty solid. One thing I'm not sure about is whether taking the Archon is a good idea. I'd say you should try to squeeze a Wraithlord in there if you can.

EDIT: Just remembered that you need to take an HQ from an allied detachment, so my advice doesn't really help, sorry.
