Brand new old school sized Ogres and Imps for your fantasy football board games.


Impact! Miniatures would like to cast up a new resin based fantasy football team. This time an Ogre and Imp team sculpted by amateur sculptor Kalle from Sweden as part of Impact!'s Targeted Impact! program where we help new sculptors get their work cast up and make some money off their talents. These are old school sized Ogres. They are 32mm to the eye so that when you knocked them down they fit fairly easily on any game board spaces they are used with. One of the Ogres is in a position to pile on an opponent he has laid out on the field.



The Imps are small and vicious. They are approximately 10mm to the eye. There are 7 different poses and a team set has 10 of them in it with all 7 at least once and no pose appearing more than twice.



The Imps are all one piece miniatures. The Ogres require minor assembly to glue on their heads or an arm or two on some.

The resin figures will be cast in Trollcast which is a resin based material. It is non-toxic and easy to sand and cut but still durable. You can modify the figures by immersing them in boiling water. However as a safety warning ...never ever expose any resin based material from any company including these to direct flame ... it is just a really really bad idea. (sorry we have to mention this because someone thought that was a good way to bend a leg on a figure from a previous KickStarter).

The limited edition sets of figures will have both the Ogres and Imps in white metal lead free pewter. These sets will only be available from this KickStarter.

we will pay to have a resin mould made for our original Imps that have been very popular over the years. Phigs Imps are great looking Imps and backers of the IMPS, RESIN TEAM or PEWTER TEAM reward levels will be allowed to choose between receiving their 10 Imps as either Kalle Imps or Phigs Imps (Resin team could receive Resin Phigs Imps and Pewter teams would receive Pewter Phigs Imps).

All of our resin Big Guy characters (an example is shown above, lots more on the KS page) are now available for discounted prices to those picking up an Ogre Team

Stretch Goal #2 is the Big Guy Party!!! which will be unlocked at $4,500.

The 6 Ogres are going to be so happy when we reach $4,500 that they are going to invite all their Big Guy friends over to party with them. And I'm sure enough beverages will be consumed that no will be noticing if they sign a contract for less than normal to go home with a backer to play for their team.

What this means for you ... every single Big Guy that Impact! has converted to resin will be available as an add-on to your order for 20% to 30% off the normal price. I'm working on a list and will work to get an update out by tomorrow night that will list all the resin Big Guys and the prices they can be added on to your reward for if we reach Stretch Goal #2. Please note however ... these Big Guys may be cheap ... but they travel with their Ogre buddies so you can only take advantage of these special prices if you have a reward level with at least 6 Ogres in it.

I like the alternate imps from the $3500 stretch goal a lot more. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this kickstarter.

I like the ogres, I just don't have need for a BB team :( I recently sold all my old BB teams and kept just my core Orc team for playing.

I might get a set of these to paint and sell for fun.

STRETCH GOAL #2 - $4400 - Big Guy Party - UNLOCKED!!!

The Ogres are celebrating their success and have brought all their Big Guy friends to party and have called in a crew of cheerleaders and servers to help with the fun!

This stretch goal will have us add in all or our resin Big Guy characters for discounted prices from what you could get them normally. So a great way to pick up a deal with your Ogre team.

You have must have pledged at the OGRE reward level or higher to add on any add-ons to your reward.

If we reach $5500, we will add in 5 extra Imps for free to the Super Resin and Super Pewter teams.

In addition, you will be able to pick from a 3rd Imp option to use for your Resin or Pewter Imps. Fatgoblin's Imps will be provided. We will even add in the ability for Super teams to get one set of each (Kalle, Phigs and Fatgoblin (15 total)) with the free 5 being from whichever set they want.

Helmet Stand miniature now available from Impact! and if you get it as part of of our Ogre KickStarter ( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/fantasy-football-ogre-and-imp-team ) it will be at a reduced price from what it will be when it gets to the store (which is not planned right now until sometime in December but it will cost more). The Helmet Stand is 1 3/8" tall without the spikes. It is a 3 piece figure with the helmet spikes and facemask bar being seperate pieces. This figure will make an excellent turn, score or reroll market for your games or even paint it silver or gold and use it as an inexpensive trophy for your league or tournament. As part of this KickStarter, it is only a $5 add-on to your IMPS or higher reward.

Steel Ball Marker now available

Ogres do not want to just play with a normal leather ball ... they want something to reflect their hard as nails image. So we now have a steel football to use with the team.



This ball marker is has a ring that is flexible to allow it to clip easily around a leg or arm of the ball carrying miniature (without damaging the paint). This way you can move the ball carrier without worrying about the ball falling off the base.

This ball marker is available as a $3 add-on to your Imps reward level or higher ... or if you just want the Bonehead and Steel Ball markers we set up a reward level now that will allow your friends to just pick up the markers.

Stretch Goal #5 - $7500 (Free Motty the Goblin Commentator)

If we reach $7500, we will include with every pledge for a Resin Ogre team ($50) or higher, one of our most popular pewter figures, Motty the Goblin Commentator who is ready to speculate on the ongoing action on the pitch.



Stretch Goal #6 - $8500 (Free Goblin Referee)

If we reach $8500, we will include our pewter Goblin Referee miniature with every pledge for a Resin Ogre team ($50) or higher. Someone has to be trying to pull out the red cards when your Imps put the boots into those downed opponents.
