DPs are fast and decent. Daemonettes are horde units so good. Personally I'd run more Cavalry. 1 unit that is that quick will get targeted early on. Have 2-3 units like that allows you to push 4-5 threats in your opponents face early on making it that much more difficult to deal with. The other option is to go for the Chariot units which are still quite cheap for what they do.

my thoughts with the daemonettes is. they move average 12 inches a turn while running so they can keep up.

The Cavalry move 21.5" on average and the DPs can move 24" (I forget if swooping FMC can run if so that number is 30"). They are practically guaranteed a turn 2 charge. The Daemonettes have to wait till turn 3. But I had forgotten just how fast Daemonettes were...

20 Dsemonettes is equal in points to 4.5 Chariots on the charge the Daemonettes have 60 attacks against marines that is 40 hits, 6.67 rends, 6.67 wounds total 8.89 dead marines. A chariot does 7 hits 1.167 rends 2.33 wounds 1.94 dead marines at I10 even if they are in cover. The alluress kills another 0.185 marines meaning a total of 2.129 dead marines so point for point it is 9.58 dead marines. Killing power is similar the girls are much better when charged. However the Chariots are immune to boltguns and don't care if they charge into cover.

Charging a tactical squad off all boltguns behind a shrubbery means that 4 daemonettes die before they strike removing a 5th of your damage output. Just 1 round of boltguns firing before hand kills 6 daemonettes. Whilst having nothing but Daemonettes on the board means that every big gun the opponent has will be pointed at your fragile Princes...

I think 60 Daemonettes is enough if you're running Princes. Still a decent number on the board but gives you points to spend on other stuff (like a 2nd unit of Cavalry and a unit or two of Chariots). If you want a pure horde I think you're better off with a couple of cheap Heralds and then spending spare points on more Cavalry. That way you take all his high powered guns out of the equation (lascannons and meltas become pointless).

Just some thoughts.
