I don't have many pictures today cause it was a SHORT game. It was our first time with FOTR and I must say, it was pretty awesome. My Defenders of the Reich consisted of:

Forward HQ Panther
Panther tank
4 Stug IIIs
Off-Table 120mm Mortars
Armoured Panzergrenadiers (from Overlord)
Recon Platoon Command
3 Sd Kfz 222s

vs. the British

Forward HQ Dingo
Paratrooper Platoon
2 Shermans
2 Fireflies
2 105mm guns
Recon Platoon Command
2 Daimlers

I made my stand in the town, with the British approaching from the outskirts. You can see most of my initial deployment here:

I managed to find a great position from which to fire with my Panther.

My StuGs also had great positions overlooking the main approaches. All 3 of my AFVs started the game with Ambush Fire as per the mission.

Things started to go bad for the British from the get go. My ambush fire on the Panther knocked out a Daimler on the first turn.

The early game was special chit mayhem. My Panther and one of my StuGs both got Out of Fuel chits from British draws. I got an air support chit early on and really wanted to use it as a beyond the call of duty but I had no good targets, so I kept it as it was. The Brits came on real slow and in contrast I was getting my stuff pretty quickly in spite of the 5+ reserve rolls, so I controlled the pace. My off-table mortars were real all stars. The last photo is them blowing up a Firefly.

A good if not totally one sided game lol
