Played a game with my buddy yesterday, a real short one lol. It was the first time I could put a fully painted and proxy free list on the board to match his Trollbloods, so to mark the occasion I decided to do my first WM batrep. My list:

I'm probably forgetting a couple of things out of the troll list, but the meat of it is there. The board after turn 1:



The cobblestone roads in the picture above are used to show control zones, since they're the perfect size/shape. I took first turn and cautiously moved up to the middle of the board. I threw Arcane shield on the Cenutrion to get some ARM 24 goodness. With the journeyman I cast Arcane Shield on the Sword Knights for a tough frontline blob. His Gatormen took up position in a swamp near one of the control zones.


Things got interesting when I saw an opening in his vanguard. I charged the Centurion into the control zone. Photo dump of my bold maneuver.








There was some minor fighting but the game ended quickly when the Trollblood feat went off and some devastating ranged attacks went into Haley. With elevation she was sitting at DEF 18, which I thought would be enough to protect her but the Trolls had hot dice. You can see the angle of the shot in this picture.

Just curious: you only put Snipe and Mark Target on the 3 beasts, right? I didn't think eGrim's feat worked for out of faction stuff.

It is quite nice when a Blitzer actually hits stuff though.
