I have received a few good suggestions on a 1500pt list but I just made this one and I thought it might be fun, what do you guys think? Any suggestions? Does it stand a chance, or is it reasonably ok?

heavy bolters

comes to 1500pts exactly. Has 5 leman russ, 8 missile launcher teams and over 50 guardsmen plus a decent amount of special weapons. Thoughts please.

Why bother with the heavy flamers on the demolishers? Since you snap-fire everything else when firing ordnance, you can't use the HF at all, as opposed to at least getting a snap-shooting heavy bolter and a normal heavy bolter at 25"-36"

You're right, my only reason for that was just if they were too close and needed to knock some troops out of cover but Overall the heavy bolter is probably best.What do you think of the rest of the list?

You have two heavy support choices there. You can only take up to 3 lemun rus or its varients in 1 choice.

Not to nit pick because you can obviously buy more models but this is using way more stuff then you said you had to use.

I was able to squeeze a few more squads out of what I had by putting the heavy weapons teams in them and finding some old sergeants. Forevery squad I put a heavy weapon and special weapon in I was able to free up 3 guard, so I was able to make a few more squads, plus I'm using my veterans as guardsmen in this case. My group is ok with proxies.
