This is my first shot at making an army list for Infinity. I figured 200pt would be a good place to start points-wise. I chose to go with the Japanese Sectorial Army as a theme and here's what I came up with:
________________________________
Domaru Butai Lieutenant 27pt
-chain rifle/ exp ccw

Domaru Butai 36pt
-boarding shotgun, ap ccw

Keisotsu Butai 25pt
-missile launcher

Oniwaban 44pt

Tokusetsu Eisei Doctor 14pt

Ninja 50pt
-MULTI sniper rifle

Total: 196pt
________________________________

I'm not sure (having never played before), how important hackers are. I figured that ultimately a keisotsu with a rocket launcher would do the trick but i'm not sure. Any feedback on the list would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on how much you value your HI guys - as to how useful hackers are.
Thematically it can work - but there is no one "magic" list for this game that will trump all. You can win with it, but it's going to be a hard slog.

The Domaru have e/m grenades as well (they are thrown - it's a 12" max range with its own +3/0/-3 ranges). These can knock out repeaters and hacking devices meaning you can just SHOOT them afterwards (the enemy hackers).

You'll have bigger problems. At 200pts, that's only 6 orders and if you start two hidden, that means 4 orders. It's quite possible to get 8-10 orders for many armies at 200pts (just not combine, tohaa or Aleph).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Pretty easy to get 10 orders @ 200 with Aleph and Tohaa imo.

...and I don't think anyone mentioned 8-10 **regular** orders, so some of the more pretannoying ca lists could qualify, too

But yeah. This is close to the amount of fun stuff you'd expect in a 250-300pt. list, more like.

how about this for giving more orders:

Keisotsu Butai 25pt
-missile launcher

Keisotsu Butai 18pt
-HMG

Keisotsu Butai 9pt

Keisotsu Butai 9pt

Oniwaban 44pt

Tokusetsu Eisei Doctor 14pt

Ninja 50pt
-MULTI sniper rifle

Total: 196pt

this list has 8 orders and more firepower over all, but i'm worried that the keisotsu butai will be too week, won't be able to hit much and will basically just be cannon fodder/extra orders for the rest of my force.

You're playing JSA.

They can have fire-teams. LINK those keisotsu up into one team. You'll gain +1B (ACTIVE AND REACTIVE), and Sixth sense level 2. This means a B2 missile launcher.

It's also more orders efficient to do it that way. OK, only the leader shoots in active (but they ALL shoot - if they have LoF - in ARO, with that +1B.). And SSlvl2 denies combat camo too (so no sneaky-sneakies against them until 1 guy dies).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
