Hello, i'm looking for feedback/opinions on my 725 point lists for my progression league.

List 1: 718
1x Necron Overlord w/ Warscythe+ Mindshackle scarabs-115
5x Necron Warriors- 65
5x Necron Warriors- 65
6x Necron Warriors- 78
1x Ghost Ark- 115
1x Night Scythe-100
1x Night Scythe-100
1x Catacomn Command Barge-80

The list would work something like this:
-Overlord in the Barge
-5 warriors in the scythe
-5 warriors in the scythe
-6 warriors with the Ghost Ark

Now im very new to this game and i have not bought any units for this yet. So if you do have feedback or even an entierly different list please save me from buying a not so good army

Serpents may cause you grief but you will to them too. Very solid list.

So how should this list play out where should i try to station everything. I'm playing on 4 12" by 12" boards. Mainly curious how i go about moving the Overlord and the Ghost Ark around.

I only have about 6 games under my belt and they were 250pts so this is all very confusing at times lol.


Also have to move this list up to 950 in December so was wondering what i should do from here

Was thinking of adding:
5x Warriors-65
5x Warriors-65
(for a total of 10 in the Ark)
1x Annihilation Barge-90
Add Sempiternal Weave on my Overlord- 15
For a total of 940

Well you should keep one of your warrior squads in a scythe until the last turn so he can contest/capture the enemies objective. Probably keep your barge behind the ark as they advance as it will be focus fired because it's awesome. Once he's in sweeping range jump out and start ripping squads/tanks apart. Night scythes should concentrate on taking out enemy armour with their str 7 tesla.

Sounds good, so just to clarify i want to be offensive with the Ghost Ark followed by the Barge correct?

Well you want to be within 24' because that's it's maximum range for ranged weapons. Once you have moved far enough to get your barge in range then let him sweep over enemy units while your ark totters about shooting. Depending on what your facing you might not need to use it as a screen. For example pods or bikes. But against things like tau gunline and serpent spam you will need a screen for all those high strength shots aimed at your barge. Also don't forget your barge counts as a chariot in the new FAQ so it has additional rules in the brb. More impact hits when sweeping

Hey, what do you guys thing about ditching the Overlords Barge, and putting in an Annihilation Barge, and then sticking the Overlord with the Ghost Ark Unit.

This is in the 725 point list.
