I would also like to know which army you think would fair better against tau. Both lists come in at 1850

Donchyaknow? Helldrake + 3 MoN Oblits is the only competitive build, go with that one.

The second list looks better I agree. How many terminators do you have? I'd also would add one more troop choice in there and to switch the heavy bolters to more auto cannon havocs

I've got 8 termie models to work with. 1 chain fist 1 reaper auto, 2 combi melta 1 combi plas. I would have to agree on the autocannon havocs but unfortunately i've only got heavybolter models and prefer to play wsiwyg.
