I have 2 750pts lists that I will play alongside my friends in a 1500pts team doubles tournie but I am still to choose my partner. I have 1 GK which will ally with IG and one nurgle which will ally with Daemons of Nurgle.
This relies on the nurgle daemons for touch of rust/anti tank.
What do you think? Who should I ally with? The IG player plays blob with 1 Russ in 600pts and the nurgle guy is taking some beasts and a lot of plaguebearers. Please comment on the allies and any options for the GK list. I do want to keep the CSM as it is though.

The CSM list looks just like you're trying to absorb wounds for your partner/ capture objectives. It won't kill much of anything. Was this the tactic you planned on using?

If your ally is taking plague bearers why would you take nothing but zombies? They both fulfill the same role. Take the units which make csm good at competitive levels, oblits with mon, hell drake, plague marines etc etc
