Its the Flames of War Special Character Commander Dedov, he comes with both turrets which is very useful.

did you magnetize the guns on yous SU-100s? If you did, what size of magnets did you use? I'm going to magnetize mine and calculated and measured that 2mm x 1mm magnets would be perfect.

I didn't as I want to pick up a box of the plastic SU-100 and Su-85s when they come out and I can't see myself needing 12 SU-100's but I will when I do the ISU-122's and ISU-152's. Automatically Appended Next Post: My newest addition to the army, a company of T-70's, you can see more pictures here

I wanted to post a reply on your blog but couldn't because it had all those stupid ID security measures. Why is posting anonymously considered so sinful these days?
What I wanted to discuss was you saying that taking Matildas is good in the current meta. Why? A slow tank rating gives the opponent basically an additional shooting phase. Or two. It interacts poorly with other tanks as the gun only can scratch the paint of them. TA2 is good in assaults but the problem is getting stuck in there. Some people propose the idea of letting the su100 take care of the tanks. But the positioning on move or shoot tanks is very difficult. So what is so great about the Matilda?

They're slow tanks, yes, but they're slow tanks with FA 7 and SA 6 for a lot less than 34/85s. The speed doesn't really matter if you have both the ability to bounce lighter AT and the numbers that allow you to shrug off losses caused by heavier AT.
The gun also doesn't matter much, either; if you're taking on most MW and LW tanks with Matildas then you're either doing something wrong, or you're winning so decisively that there's nothing else they can be doing. The 3 shots of a basic Matilda II are nothing for infantry or gun teams to sniff at, especially when they have as many as 10 Matildas bearing down on them.
The fact they also cost a healthy amount less than something like a 34/85 means that your opponent is having to pour just as much fire into the Matildas as he would the 34/85s, but you're not losing nearly as much per tank.
Use Matildas to crush gun teams or to sit in front of infantry and blaze away with their RoF 3 guns, either offensively or defensively. Use the points you've saved from not having to buy T34s to get some dedicated AT and to fill in other gaps.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

What avatar 720 said, plus if you take something that let's you infiltrate the slow tank stat makes no difference.
I will agree they don't look great on paper but they are 260pts for 10, that's cheaper than some veteran infantry platoons, and ta 2 is great in the current artillery and infantry heavy meta. The spare points you get over the better more expensive tanks means you can get 6 or 8 platoons, something hard with the t34/85.
Also I know blogger is a pain if you don't have a log in, your not the first person to say that
