Been a while since I last posted in this section of the forums. So decided to come back with a new project/army.

Hoping to actually stick to this one, my Necrons have just been left in the drawer atm until I get around to them. Similar to my High Elves now that I think on it.

But yea, new army and new colour scheme! Heres some turquoise(or more specifically Sotek Green) Tau!

Now I'm not looking for super criticalness on painting these, I'm quite happy with how they are currently. Yes I do still need to wash and highlight them and possibly thin the paints a bit more. Oh and fill in the recesses with black, but that shall come in time.

Anyway enough babbling, here some pics:

The crisis suit is a bit messy but that can all be touched up once I add the second colour, it may be hard to see but it is the purple on the left most Fire Warrior in the top pic.

Looking like a solid base for colours. I have seen a few turquoise colour schemes and I like them a lot.
I think once they are washed and highlighted they will be good!

You might want to consider an orange for the sept marking and some spots on the black spots on the chest pieces I think it will give it some pop.

Looking good mate! On the next few minis you do just try and thin the paint abit more. Besides that looking good!

I would second the comments of the others - thin the paint a bit more, but you are off to a great start!
