I recently started warmachine with retribution and am struggling with deciding what colour scheme to go for and was woundering what choices others have found to work.

Anything other than the official scheme would be great. It's pretty boring, especially since the models have so much flat surface area to mess around with.

I've always thought gloss black would look pretty good, with freehanded markings in some bright neon color.

I did see something of the sort in the gallery I really liked a high shine black with lightning designs on the shoulders but I wasn't sure how that would how that would translate to infantry. I definatly agree the offical scheme seems like a pain with the large flat white areas. Just don't really know what colours on a giant robot would look good

This thread has a few really cool color schemes for Ret. I couldn't find the one I was looking for but someone did a "Multi-cam" scheme and it was amazing.
