This is the core of what I want to accomplish. Mainly for fun games right now. I realize I need drop pods and rhinos but let me know what you think…

Master of the Forge, Shield Eternal (Join Assault Terminators) - 150

Troops:

5 man tac, meltagun- 80
5 man tac, plasma gun- 85
5 man tac, plasma cannon- 85 (sit at home objective)
5 man tac, flamer- 75

Elite:

5 man Assault Terms with TH/SS (Land Raider)- 475
Venerable Dreadnought, lascannon, missile launcher -160 (sit back)
Venerable Dreadnought, plasma cannon -135(mid)

Heavy:

Venerable Dreadnought, assault cannon, heavy flamer(push forward)- 155
5 man Devs, 4 missiles with flakk - 170 (sit in bolstered cover)

Total: 1570

Shooting for maybe 1750 or 1850. Thoughts? Ideas?

I would look into some sort of transpo for your tac squads. Rhinos, Razorbacks, Pods? Either way, you dont want them to footslog up to the enemy objectives, with all the tau players out there and eldar pixytricks, you will not make it.
