i want to start a british army, with mostly infantary but i'm not sure what to start with. I think the parachute guys are cool though.please help as i don't want to spend loads just to find what i've got is the wrong thing. thanks

Have you got any British army lists?
If not have a look on Easy army .com.They have FREE access to the army lists out of the Forces books and the Scottish PDF lists.(For normal British infantry.)
I think there is an Airbourne list on there 6th AAR.
Market Garden is the book you want for British Paras lists.You can buy access on Easy army.com, before you buy the full book from BF if you want.

If you look at Easy Army lists you get a good idea what you need model /boxed set wise.
I would suggest looking at Plastic soldier company, if you want some cheap but high quality 15mm British tanks.(Shermans Cromwells and Churchills!)
