I'm a relatively new 40k player, looking for a game in Vancouver, not too strict about proxies and having a fully painted force either. Don't really know any good places to find a game though and I don't have any scenery or game boards of my own. Do any of you know local hobby stores that we could meet and play at? I've heard of strategies but I heard they're strict about having a fully painted force and what not.

Used to live in Vancouver - try Connection Games, I think they have a 40k night. There is also a club that meets at the legion monthly (WCP) and another that meets at the Eagles pub in North Van on West 3rd St that a couple of my friends go to (some current or ex-GW staff from Park Royal set it up I think).
