I'm starting a SoB army, but unlike with my chaos army, I want to get a solid idea of what are some good lists to build towards. This is the second iteration of my top list atm, curious as to what you guys think about it. I'd love to hear some feedback on how too improve it, as well as what you perceive as shortcomings it might have.

Sisters of Our Martyrd Lady + Thadius Locke (1850pts)

Adepta Sororitas (Primary Detachment):

+ HQ +

* Saint Celestine (Warlord)

Ardent Blade, Armor of St. Katherine

+ Troops +

* 3x Battle Sister Squads

(10) Battle Sister, (2) Storm Bolters

* Sister Superior

Bolt Pistol, Combi-Plasma

+ Fast Attack +

* 2x Dominion Squads

(4) Dominion, (4) Meltagun

* Dominion Superior

Bolt Pistol, Boltgun

* Seraphim Squad

(10) Seraphim, (2) Dual Hand Flamers

* Seraphim Superior

Bolt Pistol, Bolt Pistol, Melta Bombs

+ Heavy Support +

* 3x Exorcists

Exorcist Missile Launcher, Searchlight, Smoke Launchers

Inquisitorial Detachment:

+ HQ +

* Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor
(Thadius Locke)
Bolt Pistol, Carapace Armor, Force Sword, Frag, Krak and Psyk-out Grenades, Liber Heresius, (3) Servo Skulls, Psyker (Mastery Level 1)

+ Elites +

* Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband (440pts)

* (3) Crusader

Flak Armor, Power Sword, Storm Shield

* (4) Death Cult Assassin

Flak Armor, Two Power Swords

* (2) Ministorum Priest

Chainsword, Flak Armor, Frag Grenades, Krak Grenades, Laspistol, Rosarius

* Landraider Crusader

Psybolt Ammunition

TACTICS: Celestine travels with the Seraphim allowing both units to get the most out of their 12" jump pack movement. The dominion scout up into melta range along with the Inquisitor's Landraider (assuming he succeeds on a LD test to get scout). Together these four units pressure the enemy for hopefully 2-4 turns. My thoughts are that the threat presented by the LR is the most obvious target, followed by the Seraphim/celestine, and finally the dominion. To ignore any of those units to deal with a different one, however, will result in some form of unit loss for my opponent. The dominion will hopefully be able to take out the biggest threats to the LR, and their by allow the LR and its occupants to wreck some havoc. While the scout units lock my opponents up for the early game, the Battle Sister Squads along with the Exorcists provide supporting fire, before moving to take my back field objectives on turn 5. Granted this entire strategy is intended for multiple objective missions, and I'll have to change it for Kill Points and Relic type missions.

*Note - The inquisitorial henchmen squad would be charging from the LR with 29 attacks (23 of which are ap3) at +1 str, with re-rolls to hit and to wound. They also would have re-rolls on armor and invuln saves while in CC from the priests, which with the crusaders is a 3++ re-rollable.

After some feedback from everyone, this is another list I've considered running

No transports for your doms or battle sisters???? They are needed desperately man, especially for doms to ensure they get in melta range first turn.

I agree with the above post. Probably the best build the Sisters have right now is Immolator spam.

In my 1850 list I use 6 Immolators. 4 for Battle Sister squads and 2 for Dominions.

Also, throw a stormbolter on the Exorcists. You wan the chance for the Exorcist Launcher to survive a weapon destroyed result.

I disagree that Immo Spam is the best build, but you want transports for both Doms and Battle Sisters. Also, Storm Bolters are bad for a special weapon, get Flamer/heavy Flamer.

Don't do the Storm Bolter thing on the Exorcists. It's a waste of points. Most of the time you will either get glanced to death or blown up. 15 points to get a 50% chance to ignore one result on the table is just silly. Same reason no one takes Extra Armor.

Other than that it isn't fine.

I've added another list I've put together after hearing Dakka's and Reddits feedback on the former list. Thoughts on it?

Dig up points to get your acolytes some special weapons and I think you're good.

I can drop two seraphim and afford 3 special weapons for the acolytes, but the question then is Plasma, Melta or Flamer? I can see the merits of each. Melta is pretty common in the list as is, but the fact that I can deepstrike (the servo skulls help here as well) the acolytes might make melta useful. Plasma is just great, only problem is over heating, and I don't have the 30pts to give the Inquisitor prescience :[. Deepstriking flamers are also really good vs. hordes/ protecting the acolytes vs. charges. Thoughts?

Plasma. I wouldn't use them most of the time, but when you need them...
