I am facing a sisters army soon. I have never played against them and have no idea what to do against them. My entire army is mounted in pods with two libbys with fear/fury, tac squads with two special weapons (plas/plas-melta/melta) donkey cannons with one libby, command squad with libby and two plasma guns with apoc, ven dread flamer and donkey, two tornadoes.

I do not know what he is using. What I know the army is that they get faith points that lets them pop feats of some sorts like invulnerable saves, extra strength, ap1 hits and stuff like that. Large units of battle sisters could be a possibility along with seraphim and an exorcist or two. Not sure though. I am looking for pod advice against them. Anyone have experiences to share? Thanks.

Club me. Ain't I cute?

ASk mauleed, he's faced them twice or so and had draws every time with Drop pods.

It REALLY depends on what he brings to the table. It also depends on if he knows what he's doing with sisters or not. If he's inexperienced, you'll have a easier time. If you knows the inside and out of the army, expect a tought fight.

If he brings all sisters, faith galore, you have a hard fight. As I've said to ed, if your in range to use assaultcannons, their in range to DG bolter fire.

If he's REAL smart, every squad has a book of St Lucius. LD 9 unmodified doesnt care about anyting really, especially fear of darkness.

Keep in mind that sisters have a 5+ negation roll anytime a psyhic power targets them or they are in the area of effect. Thats ESPECIALLY important with your powers, as if you fury and draw a line, and it hits sisters at all, even if you include a nonsisters unit(say storm troopers), and they make the roll, it effects no one....

Nothing really to say about pods in general.

Hope more old fools come to their senses and start giving you their money instead of those Union Jack Blood suckers...
