Have a 2000 point game against a drop pod wolves list this weekend and I'm running orks for the first time. Wolves pods are also backed up by vindicators a d razorbacks. The list I'm going with as follows:-

Thraka - 225
9 x nobz, banner, 2 big choppers and cybork bodies. 250
1 x painboy - 55
1x war trukk with red paint - 45
Deffkopta with buzz saw - 60

Warboss, cybork, mega armour and boss pole - 110
9 x nobz, cybork, 2 big choppers - 250
1 x painboy - 55
Battle wagon, killkannon and 2 big shootas - 160
Deffkopta with buzz saw - 60

Looted wagon with boom gun and hard case - 115
3 x killer mans with grotzookas - 135

Dakkajet with 3 twin linked supa shootas and ace pilot - not 100% on this price but will only find out game day.

Now I've listed them in the groups I'm going to run them in, aprt from kept as as they will follow each vehicle to pose a extra threat. I've previously run the war boss, painboy an nob tactic in a trukk before as a ally in a cron list and it did amazing, my group has even nicknamed it the mork missile thraka just turns it from a missile to a nuke!!

I am tho considering dropping a kan and the lootas to add a shock attack gun with a ammo runt so to threaten those incoming vins?? Think this is possible because of the double f.o.c but correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess you already had the game, but I'm gonna comment anyway.
I would say take some B waggons, ditch the trucks and looted waggon and pick up some waggons for your nob squads and I would also say get rid of the koptas (mainly cause I just don't like them ) , that will free up some more points for the waggons. Don't give them 'ard case, let them be able to assault out from their vehicle an maybe throw in some rollers (who doesn't like crushing wolves with giant spiked rollers?)
