Hey all I just moved up to the Orlando area and was wondering if anyone knew of any good places to play some Warhammer (fantasy/40k) I'm currently stuck on public transit atm so hopefully nothing is too far away

Sci-Fi City is your answer. Huge gaming store with lots of tables and activities.

It isn't in the downtown area, but I think that there are some bus routes that get close. You may have to resort to a cab.

I don't live there any longer, but it was a VERY busy place when I did live there.

Ages and ages ago I actually discovered 40k at Sci Fi City. Great store and I still stop by and spend money there whenever I'm in Orlando (which is fairly rare, but still)
