How the hell do you fit KoW dwarfs in rank? These models compared to the Basilean models I've put together are terrible at fitting together. Does anyone know where to find tutorials for KoW models together?

i basically built mine one row at a time, and didn't glue arms and whatnot into place until i saw they'd fit.
i then coded the bottom of them so i wouldn't lose my order

If you are building the unit as a whole for Kings of War - and keeping the whole thing on a unit base then you may be able to scam a bit and have fewer models - it is the size of the unit base that matters, more than the number of models.

And since the models are not removed as casualties you will be good to go.

You can even take the opportunity to build a scenic base - my girlfriend has her rangers ranked up as though they were posing for a painting - and her commander has an easel and a brush.... (She had a lot of fun building the unit and commander - the rank and file are Avatars of War Pathfinders, not Mantic - but they are still glued to their unit base. KoW is our game of choice.)

I did not have a problem with ranking my own Mantic dwarfs up - but I did a test fit before hand, and knew how I wanted the arms to go.

The reason I bought rules and became a real wargamer was because I wanted a properly thought out structure to govern the action instead of just making things up as I went along.
