After over 10 years away from 40k I am considering getting back into it as I have a FLGS about 30 minutes away. I literally know nothing about the latest edition of 40k, having last played before the 3rd edition Tau were released. From talking with the locals on their Facebook group, it seems a lot of them play Xenos, so I am thinking they need a dose of the Emperor's Justice and am mulling around ideas for creating my own Space Marine chapter to cleanse the galaxy.

I have some Chapter notes that I've come up with:

Name: Ardent Guard
Origins: Imperial Fists (tentative), probable later Founding (26th?)
Motto: "Strength through purity, purity through faith" (Ex Puritas Potentia, Ex Fidei Puritas)

My favorite color is blue, and I would like to incorporate this into the primary color of my army but I don't want them to look like Ultramarines. Ideally I would like a sort of light blue/blue-gray, like the coloration on this tabard (which was in part my inspiration):

So I am looking for something that is:

1) More blue than Space Wolves
2) More gray than Ultramarines
3) Not as dark as Crimson Fists

Any suggestions? When last I played I swore by Vallejo paints, so I'd like to stick with those if possible, but sometimes it's hard to tell a color by the color swatch as it's not exact, so it's hard trying to figure out a shade/basecoat/highlight that matches. since they have like a dozen colors that the swatches look like it could be what I'm looking for but without having the paints physically (I haven't bought anything yet just coming up with some ideas) I could be incorrect about the exact colors.
