Hey all,

So, I'm nineteen, in the U.S and after deciding to "get out" of the hobby, I somehow ended up back into Warhammer 40k. And of course it was all due to "accident" after stumbling on ebay and discovering the local hobby shop in my area after having minor surgery earlier this week. Anyways, I plan on making a P&M thread for my new Sons of Orar army, with lots of terrain. (I love terrain!) Anyways, I'm glad to be back and no longer lurking again, and hopefully with some dakkanites help, I'll be able to find my way around the newest version of Codex Space Marine: as I do not have any of my rule books nor my codex anymore. (Been out since 4th or 5th edition, so I'm terribly confused.) I'm also looking for competitive games, tournaments, and painting contests (so any information about them would be awesome) and I proudly support third party bits.

Also, totally irrelevant. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy a Contemptor Dreadnought in a short timeframe. I will be leave for the personal reasons in January, and I am concerned I would not be able to get this model before I have to leave. I'm also worried about Modelling for the advantage, as I want to have a dynamic pose for it. (Kneeling, while protecting two wounded marines on a 60mm base. I'm thinking about sculpting rubble or a tree to show the normal height of the model that way other players can still fire at it normally, though I'm not sure if that is fair?)

Anyways, does anyone know where I can get one without giving up an arm or a leg? Or should I just go and get a Stormraven instead and convert it like mad?

Thanks all. I look forward to painting and modelling here at Dakka Dakka regularly!

P.S Please forgive me if my grammar is a bit messy here as well but, if you've ever had your wisedom teeth taken out then you're surely aware of the amazing medicine they give you.

Edit: I hope to have a project log up shortly, when it's up I will post it here.

Welcome to dakka!

Astra Militarum
Iron Warriors Army: Enyo Company
Enyo (Greek: Ενυώ, English translation: "warlike" in Greek mythology; Roman: Bellona), was an ancient goddess of war, acting as a counterpart and companion to the war god Ares. She is also identified as his sister, and daughter of Zeus and Hera in a role closely resembling that of Eris; with Homer in particular representing the two as the same goddess. As goddess of war, Enyo is responsible for orchestrating the destruction of cities

Correct. Despite countless millennia of evolution, technological advances and civilization, we're still monkeys throwing feces at things we don't like.-Zed.
