I didn't see this brought up anywhere else but did anyone else notice the discount GW is giving on there data slate boxsets? The tau box set gives you a free riptide. The sm flyer one gives you a $20 stormraven. The eldar one gives you almost two boxes of wraithguard off the price. Its nice to see gw giving discounts again.

Chaos: 6500pts
Imperium: 2500pts
Orks: 1000pts

Because you can't use those models outside of the formations, right?

"Dataslates" and their Fantasy equivalent "Battle Scrolls" are a new thing. They are digital items with formations that attach to a primary detachment and are composed of the items in the bundles.

Nope, you can't! They're made with amazing new plastic technology that has a vibrational frequency attuned exactly to the sound made by rolling dice. There's an MP3 embedded in the datafile that plays continuously, counteracting the resonance the sound of dice sets up in the models. If you don't have the datafiles then every time dice hit the table, the resonance gets worse and worse until the models literally explode into a million pieces!
