Wondering Why the Emperor Left

If you think your meta would allow it, I would strongly recommend trying to get ahold of a Brass Scorpion. It's a gorgeous model, very khornate, not overpowered at all (no strength D, no blast bigger than 5") but a close combat monster, extremely fast and great fun to use - it's anti-psyker, has a doomsday reactor that deliberately overloads when it dies and can stomp it's way around the board beating almost anything you can think of in close combat. It's also pretty durable and a great fire magnet, which will protect your fragile troops while they get ready for some slaughter.

You might think it's incredibly expensive at £140, but for the points it's actually a pretty cheap unit - more points-efficient than soul grinders and flesh hounds. Plus it's a great army centerpiece, and chrismas is coming up .

Currently not in posession of any armies - I merely theorycraft and discuss background,
Waiting for HH Book 6 so I can start an Imperial Army army.

I love the Brass scorpion, and cool conversions you can make of it out of a soulgrinder by chance? 140 is kinda alot for me right now lol, as i have invested alot of money already this year and have gained alot of wife aggro lol

Love the list. I run a similar list but drop the flesh hounds for another bloodthirster plus a few minor changes. Make sure you use your portalglyph. Instead of 3x13 bloodletters I run 4 x 10. The extra 3 per unit wont really make that much difference and the extra unit saves the day more often than you would think
