I am just getting started with Bolt Action and have made these two lists to make the best of a couple of boxes of Perry plastics and some Tamiya 1/48 vehicles. The goal is to have two well painted forces for casual/fun play. Any thoughts?

The list's seem pretty good, if your only using them for fun it shouldnt matter too much anyway aslong as you use the models you want.
I'm also working my way through a box of Perry Afrika korps, they are really nice models, I've ordered an 88mm from warlord to go with them i just hope the scale works out alright as the Perry's are a little smaller than some other companys ranges.

Thanks for the comment. I figure that i'll build the models for these lists and if i want to add or change anything later, it shouldn't be too bad considering the low cost of the models. There aren't many tournament games of bolt action in my city so it's all for fun.

I've got a Tamiya 1/48 88mm which will be a little bigger than the 28mm one but when the figures are on bases it seems to look fine. I'll just cut the tamiya crew down to match the size of the perry figures.

I am wondering what the best way to take out an 88 would be. Seems like a scary gun to face.

I all ways prefer fun/freindlies over tournaments much less stress, as long as there's not a massive difference in scale I don't think its a big issue really. I would say the best way of dealing one is to keep dropping mortar rounds onto it as its unlikely to be moving anywhere so the chances of hitting are going to get better each turn and your going to be putting a decent number of pins on it or if your lucky taking the whole crew out in one go they'll be really good against tanks with most of the British tanks being light or mediums they'll be going straight through most of them plus they can also be used in an AA role to although I've never had any experience with using AA in a game.
