Wondering if there is anyone in the Edmonton area that games outside of the GW stores. They're a bit far for me to drive to, especially in the winter seasons. Or perhaps if anyone wants to start such a club, I would be willing to organize something like this also.

There is a large warhammer 40k Community all throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas. We have a very active Edmonton Warhammer Facebook page, as well as many FLGS's that are willing to accomodate drop in/pick up games almost any day of the week (barring prebooked events). Thunderground in St. Albert, Warp 3 in Mill Woods Town Center, as well as various people looking to host in their own residences.

I can host as well, I'm in Leduc, so I don't regular the GW's all that often at all.

Yea, I believe there is a grand total of 1 other person for a grand total of 3 people in leduc out of 25000 people that play 40k in Leduc. Ha ha ha.

I can host a game pretty easily. I own a house in Southfork and is very well set up for gaming. I'm definitely not 18 years old. I'm 28 (29 in January), I have a successful career, good social life and a wife. It won't be a socially awkward neckbeard experience for you.

I do a lot of tournament and higher level play, I can tone it down and give you a great run though and brush up on game rules, or just give you a bit on the finer points. I've had a lot of first timers and new players come through my place.

Facebook is great for connecting with other gamers in the area for games, hobby, or any other inquiries.
