So after playing with the inquisition codex for a bit, I've decided to try and combine it with my GK army. I've had decent results with it, but now I'd like to optimize it a bit.

I know someone reading this might go, "Why allies? if he dropped the valk, he could just fit everything into a GK list," and this is true. However, after playing with the valk I accidently fell in love with it. It provides lots of dakka and helps shore up my anti-horde. The stormraven and psyfleman are my primary anti-air, and I've had good success with both in keeping the skies clear. Additionally, the 5 man acolyte team rides in the stormraven for late game objective grabs and linebreaker. The meltagun team in the valk serve a similar purpose, but can also be used for anit-heavy armor. The biggest problem I've had though, is that when they get out, they die, and if I've dropped the valk into hover mode to let them out, it becomes a much easier target. One thought I've had is to switch the melta team to flamers, then switch on of the plasma teams to melta. That way I can use the flamer teams to try and clear objectives before I try to take them while still maintaining a decent melta presence. Thoughts or other suggestions?
