The basic idea (again, from the video) is to drive Mephiston up the middle, 3 BAALS up one flank and hope the SR comes in from reserve early to drop the Furioso off on the other flank.
The AS's would hit anyone past midfield and grab objectives.
I'm wondering if tac squads in rhinos might work better.

Ok a few small things to consider obviously my opinion.
2 Baals is good I think 3 is overkill though.
You have no flamers at all. Armies that use cover or hordes are going to hurt you.
Mephiston needs something big in front of him to block line of sight. He is hard to wound with small fire and can't be instant deathed because of his toughness but if I played you every heavy weapon would be aimed at him coming solo up the middle. He will never make it there.
Drop pod the furioso. Guaranteed first turn drop...why chance the Stormraven? Use the raven as a gunship not a transport. If it gets shot down then you will most likely lose him.
Sang priests don't need melta bombs especially when they are with an assault squad with melta guns. Any armor will already be popped when you get in combat...what they should have however is a power axe or power fist. You never accept challenges with them only with your sergeant and let them house the unit.
I love your vet sergeant build...I usually do the same....3+ invuln yup I'll take that.
Remove the Pintle storm bolter...completely useless.
I'm not a fan of the hurricane bolters on the raven but I can understand taking them for anti horde.
If you remove all of this you wind up with about 220 points after you buy a drop pod. You need something with 13av in front of meph which I would suggest a vindicator with dozerblade about 150pt. And fists on the 2 priests are 50. Whatever is left maybe give dozer blades and searchlights to your other vehicles

Automatically Appended Next Post: Now thinking about it maybe run the third Baal up the middle in front of meph and I do mean have him kissing its rear and do flamestorm/heavy flamers.
Oh and tac in rhinos would not be as mobile but they are better at holding because of longer range shooting. Rhino is a good way to give first blood though that has never bothered me.

Question: 3 TLAC and Bolter spons + SB isn't effective against hordes? They tear up my orks pretty well :(

Keep the pintle storm bolters, you need to squeeze as much out of fast vehicles as you can.
I think that spending points on BA sergeants beyond a power axe is a mistake. A 3++ is not going to save him from a real HTH character.
Blood talons suck. Do the math. They are only passable with prescience, and that is a lot of moving parts. Also, Blood Talons mean you can't hurt other dreads or Wraithknights or even Riptides. Feth that. Use a fragnought.
Speaking of challenges, I've found it quite useful to stack libby, priest and sarge all in one squad and deny all challenges. There are still two axes swinging.
Hurricane bolters on the raven are a must-take. Without them, it has anti-troop utility. Ravens should be 200 w/hurricane bolters. They are overcosted as they exist now.
I still run razorbacks and have Meph hide behind them. Especially TLHF razors. It's not the best, but the BA codex is the worst in the game. What do you want? Something good?
Why not? If you are getting tabled and they are playing one of those then they are probably playing a jerk list. I won't play 3 ravens but only because it's a boring game with no thought required. I get offered dumbed down lists against tau and elder when they find out I'm playing Blood Angels all the time. I don't want mercy, I choose this army and could switch if I wanted to. I could say they are red marines and have a really good codex. But I don't because the BA story and Sanguinius is the reason I chose them and I will live and die with this army. When our new codex finally launches and it's disgusting I will know that I deserve this for the months upon months of tough losses and angrily launched dice. When I'm told my codex is broken I will smile and say I know it sucks doesn't it? If anything this has made me a much better player because I've learned to make something out of nothing and over analyze every move I make just to survive. So do I want your B rate list you play for fun? Hell no, bring the pain! I can guarantee that this game will be a lot closer then you expected and when it's over we WILL have to count points. That's how you get respect, not by playing that list that can't lose. Lol sorry for the rant.
So Mephiston and the Furioso ride dirty in Ravens. Kick them out the door. If the dice betray you and the drednought immobilizes itself, that's why you have the magna grapple.
Sternguard come in T1 and pop a Serpent. Vanguard come in and can hopefully multi-assault more. Ravens can methodically start taking them out. Razorbacks and speeder are there for clean-up duty and scoring. Mephy hops around cracking serpents and eating juicy Eldar troops.
That's against Eldar but the strategy would work just as well versus Tau. Ravens are great at killing Riptides. You can put the Vanguard in a Raven if you're worried about EWO. And the certainly don't have any answers for Mephy if you use Wings and LOS blocking terrain correctly.

If the other meq codices are any measure, the BA are going to suck.
