I'm building this to have a mixed and fun experience by using multiple tactics. The tactical squad will drop first turn on a point and split on scoring area with pred coming to back up. Aegis will be anti air with devs to help support mid depending on placement, seargent wiill use signum on vanilla marine to grant Bs5 on cannon. Mid game will drop librarian and sternguard squad on a flank or wherever there's a vulnerable vehicle / creature though special ammo and librarian can mop up vulnerable troops. Librarian can then use codex powers to gate around and support middle while using primarchs wrath to support with viable ranged attacks. Snipers will pick off vulnerable troops or take cover near scoring zone.

This is just my newbie perception on how things might work and I might be wrong on some things. I'm especially foggy on codex psychic powers as I can't find them in my codex. I'm not sure how useful those fortifications will be if the other player places terrain in front of it with the new 6th edition rules.

Ok, when manning aegis weaponry remember the model shooting can only fire one weapon. I can't help you in regards to psychic crap as I play tau now and played blood angels in 5th. I think there is some random element to powers now but I don't know. Now what I see. I see you have an alpha strike theme here which does not synergize with an aegis line. Your scouts infiltrate, your pods come down, your pred is out hunting. And your devs are sitting by themselves on 100 pts of weapons. I can infiltrate, smoke three models then I'm sitting in your aegis with (in my case) 20 kroot with sniper rounds who now have a 4+ cover save and a las cannon. Point being the aegis doesn't really go with your overall strategy. I also feel you have to few scoring units and no beatstick the marines are so famous for.
Like I said I played BA last edition so I just ran my tranports down field, jumped out, and beat face. That is no longer a viable strategy so I went xeno. Ummmm.... Dreadnaughts?

I'm looking at dreadnought options and I'm actually liking them, I just assumed that they weren't for me at first but they seem perfect for this loadout. I'm thinking a walking dreadnought built for anti infantry at range, say 2 twin linked autocannons? or perhaps I should throw in another pod and put in an ironclad for some sort of pod synergy? If I take out the aegis and devs I'll have 219 to play with though I know I need some aa, suggestions?

Psychic powers are indeed random and they are generated from the brb. C:sm have access to all schools minus divination. Gate of infinity is not guaranteed so I wouldn't count on it as a battle plan.

Personally I'd drop the aegis, devs and primarchs wrath and take two storm talons with skyhammer missiles. But that's just me.

This leaves me with 4 points to spare though I can always dial something down and add some more scoring scouts that add some cool fluff.

Do most games allow stuff from forge world like the Mortis or is that rare for tournaments etc...?
