So, I got an Xbone for xmas. And Assassins Creed 4. Hella fun so far. I was off all week and never left the house, too busy sailing the high seas and listening to my crew sing me songs about booze and women.
Anyway... I had a PS3 before, so I'm kinda new to xbox.
I signed up for a gold membership for a year so I can watch TV on my xbox.. but I really don't see the point, when all I have to do is hit a button on my receiver's remote to switch to my cable box. I was going to set up skype on it, but I don't want people to see how messy my place is and how many pizza boxes I have stacked up at any given moment. Netflix works ok. I set up Internet Explorer, checked out my website on it, then said "meh" and never back, I'd rather use my tablet. I set up Kinnect to recognize me and turn on the box whenever I'm in the room, but whenever I say "Xbox On" or "Xbox Watch TV" or "Xbox Self Destruct", nothing happens. Do I have to wear my xbox live headset for it to hear me? If so, that's dumb.
So... I can't play any 360 games on it, can I? Looking at their online shop for games, there's only a few that I can download. The guy at GameStop tried to sell me a $3 warranty for my assassin's creed disc, which I declined. Aren't the discs just for installing now, and you don't need it in the machine to play anymore? He was practically begging me to get any kind of warranty. I was like "STFU noob and gimmie my Xbone"
And, if someone is playing a 360 game, and I have an Xbone version, can we both play together on Xbox live? Or is each version separate? My nephew has black flag also, but for the 360...
