TBS Comics presents Coastal Assault – a two day tabletop gaming event held in Fort Walton Beach, FL at the Emerald Coast Conference Center.

This year’s even will start Friday evening with the following:

40k Kill team – 200 pt Zombie Apocalypse
Warmachine Grinder – 9 pts
Star Trek Attack Wing tournament – 120 pts
Heroclix tournament – 800 pts
Board game demos

Saturday will be the big day:

40k RTT style tournament – 1999 pts, 4 rounds, 48 players
WarmaHordes Steamroller – 50 pts, 4 rounds, 24 players
Heroclix ROC Super Qualifier – 300 pts, Modern, 48 players
Heroclix ROC Qualifier – 300 pts, Modern, 48 players

There will be a painting competition on Saturday as well.

40k tournament rules can be found here. In a nut shell, point limit is 1999 (not 1999+1), no escalation or stronghold assault, and no unit data slate formations (character formations will be allowed). Painting is not required.

We have two hotels lined up for the event:

Four Points Sheraton (hotel is on the beach) for $80 a night.
Emerald Coast Inn (behind the conference center) for $55 a night.
