Hey Dakka, I was wondering whether a Space Marines chapter would grant an IG regiment that they've been serving alongside or who are of their home world/ recruiting world, and who have been praised by said chapter for whatever reason, the privilege of bearing their chapter imagery and symbols? This is with BT in mind, who are joined on one of their crusades by a regiment, and the two organisations become closely bonded.

Certainly. It's not at all uncommon for Marine chapters to bond with Guard regiments whom have deeply impressed them in battle.

This sort of thing is mentioned in many instances through the fluff and books. Indeed, very much so. Usually, they dont wear the full colors and iconography but usually there is some visual token of the bond.
