Picked this one up yesterday, it was a new release by a company not known for their wargaming releases.

The kit is in approximately 50mm scale, and the end model is just slightly bigger than a WarMachine Colossal or Warhammer Leman Russ, it Depicts "Metalbeard" A pirate who barely survived an attack by merciless robot drones and has built himself a giant steampunk body out of parts of his ship. at $35 for a huge based model, it's a steal!

The kit itself is an unassembled prepainted model, molded in color, casting is exceptionally crisp, with no mold lines or flash. All parts are cleanly keyed and fit together without need for glue or pinning, that's the good side, the bad side is that the kit has approximately 400 pieces, about 2/3 of which make the title character, many of the parts have alternate mounting points, for conversion, that may require some dremel or putty work to fill on the finished model.

Over all the kit is wonderful, if a little cartoony it's as if WarMachine's Broadside Bart met Karchev the Terrible, While rules included , homebrew rules would be easy enough to cook up. He's armed with twin cannon on one arm. and a grabbing claw on the other hand, which can also wield a massive sword,For a model his size though he seems a little under armed as his only secondary weapon is a single pistol though he does have a parrot and shark as well.

The kit can be bought online at
