After being away from MTG for some years I recently bought a M14 toll kit deck box as my wife has finally decided she wants to learn how to play [its taken me 14 years to get her to take an interest in one of my hobbies]

What I need now is help designing two decks

My deck:
I am wanting a mono black zombie deck. Something that can generate a crap load of zombie tokens, sacrifice to deal damage, denial aspect and card control.

My wife's deck:
Mainly green with either white or black with a wolf theme or token build.

So just wanting to know what cards are decent and what I should be looking for.
I started playing when Arabian knights came out and then left the game came back during onslaught and then left.

I will be buying the cards once I get the list organised. We want 60 card decks and its just casual play.

Cheers
LGW

Well, good wolf stuff is spread throughout all of magic's history (although, Watchwolf is a good place to start)

As for Zombies, Onslaught Block had a LOT of zombie stuff (Shepard of Rot, Gempalm Polluter, Rotlung Reanimator) however, Innistrad has some other nice stuff, like a sorcery with Flashback that can put 13 2/2 black zombie tokens on the battlefield. Army of the Damned.

I would take a look at a lot more recent stuff. you'd be surprised to see how much power Creep has come.
