Subject: crimson fists with cypher, plausible? worth it?

Hey all, had an idea for a fluffy list, not meant to always win, just have some fluffy fun. Has a little backstory i made up, so please bear with me.
So shortly after the Rynns World disaster, several chapters sent contingents to help cleanse the ork menace off of Rynns World. The Dark Angels were one such chapter, though while others sent squads, maybe even most of a company, the Dark Angels sent the entire Ravenwing. Of all the battle companies that fought at Piscina IV, and as useful as the Deathwing would have been against the massed hordes and gargants, the Inner Circle sent the hunters of the fallen. While the Dark Angels have plenty of reason to hate the orks, maybe they sent their hunters for something, or someone else...
Pedro and sternguard are on their way to reinforce a strongpoint about to be overrun, when they are approached by a mysterious Dark Angel and his entourage that offers his unconditional assistance stating that the Crimson Fists must survive in the days ahead.
Pedro Kantor
Cypher
Sternguard x10, 2 combi-flamer, with rhino
Sternguard x10, 2 combi-flamer, with rhino
Sternguard x5, with rhino
Tactical Squad x10, Vet Sarge, power axe, flamer, heavy bolter
Tactical Squad x10, Vet Sarge, power axe, flamer, heavy bolter
Devastator Squad x5, 4 missile launcher
Thunderfire Cannon
Thunderfire Cannon
Firestorm Redoubt.
Plan is to keep Pedro back with the devs in the redoubt with thunderfires flanking or on top. tacticals spread around for point defence/objective holding while sternguard rush objectives.
Depending on infiltrate rule interpretation, Cypher rides with small "fallen" sternguard to assassinate MC's or HQ if not allowed to infiltrate. If allowed to infiltrate, dump rhino for more combis.
Maybe this chance meeting is what causes the Eldar to appear and lend aid as well? Maybe without Cyphers appearance, the Dark Angels wouldn't have helped at all? Maybe Cypher has kicked off a chain reaction of events that will launch the fists into something greater? Thoughts? Comments?

Why so many flamers great anti horde but not so strong against heavey infantry and armour.
I would pod all three stern guard squads and put Pedro and cypher each with one. Add some deathwind launchers and a teleport homer..

I just got hold of a cypher mini and plan on something like this as well.
Maybe go with 2 meltaguns and a couple of combi-mg in one of the SGV squads ( with a Drop pod ) and change up to a LC for one of the Tac squads ? A min size dev squad will not last long with no ablative wounds in the front of the squad and the melta and LC will give you some more anti-tank options.
And the axes on the Tac sarges are not worth the points, they would probably die in a challenge anyway, why make them go last with the axe ?

I like the flamers, keeps it fluffy since this is during/post rynns world. Also auto hits for overwatch is nice.
Maybe cypher "fallen" tab get the pod and a few combis? Use the points saved from the power axes for 3?
And as I understand it, units embarked in buildings may not be shot at? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks Automatically Appended Next Post: *fortifications. Not buildings, sorry for the mix up

Pedro Kantor
Cypher
Sternguard x10, 2 combi-flamer, with rhino
Sternguard x10, 2 combi-flamer, with rhino
Sternguard x5, 2 combi-plasma, with drop ppd

Tactical Squad x10, Vet Sarge, flamer, heavy bolter
Devastator Squad x6, 3 missile launcher, 1 with flakk
Thunderfire Cannon
Thunderfire Cannon
Firestorm Redoubt.
Plan is to keep Pedro back with the devs in the redoubt with thunderfires flanking or on top. tacticals spread around for point defence/objective holding while sternguard rush/clear objectives.
Cypher pods with small "fallen" sternguard, confers shroud to increase cover save, and have plasma/wound things on 2+ shenanigans. Even has hit and run to jump back and shoot again if charged
Devs now have 2 ablaitve wounds and the option to hit a flyer on a 2+ should things get that hairy.
