There is a new Star Wars bi-weekly collectable mag out this week by DeAgonstini, same folks that did Doctor Who and Star Trek in the past, its 99p for the first issue, but its not the fact file I'm alerting folks to as most of the info is stuff we've seen before. No whats useful is it comes with a fold out A1 galactic map of the Star Wars universe.

Just as that's always been a bugbear for me, tiny little map in the book, hard to use. Having a huge A1 version is a absolute must have so I thought I'd share. On a side note to any US/EU folks, as our family shop stocks mags etc and I can get that issue on back order for a number of weeks, if anyone over stateside is interested in obtaining a copy, shoot me a pm and I can look into how much it would cost to send one over there for you.

I was wrong, its 50p for the first issue. Postage out should be no more than a few pounds airmail to get to most places worldwide. Assuming folks just want the map, and not the fact file which would add another pound-ish to postage I'd guess, but it really is standard stuff, Battle of Yavin squadron list, R2 D2 facts, Vaders light sabre, the final jedi confrontation from Phantom menace and small bit about Felucian wildlife.

I'd love to get four of them. More than happy to pay for the mags to have them shipped out as well - maybe some extras that others don't want depending on the total post costs to AU. I'll give them to a special needs school I have contacts with. Kids seem to like that Star Wars stuff for some reason...

My RPG group is planning on starting the FFG star wars RPG soon, so if you could keep one for me that'd be awesome, just let me know how to get the postage fee to you. Just the map though, we wouldn't need the mag itself.

No worries, anyone who 100% wants one pm me so I can add up the amount I need to order and I'll get some for the middle of next week, although as I said they will probably be available for around three weeks based on previous collections. As to payment, paypal is probably easiest.

Hlaine I would imagine a WHSmith or John Menzies would have them on the shelf for certain, or could order one in for you at the very least. Although saying that any standard newsagent will be dealing with one of those two for their paper/mag needs anyway so should be able to track one down even if not stocked.
