This post concerns a sale that was in progress with the user Zephel.

Zephel had a Eldar army for sale that I messaged him about. He e-mailed me pictures of the army, and I replied asking for a phone number to speak with him about the sale.
Not an unreasonable request, considering the dollar amount of the sale.

I got a 1 liner response from him 2 days later with a phone #. I called the phone #, and it said it was a Magic Jack #, and the user has to call me first before I can call it.
Considering this strange, I did a Google search on the #. The Google search came back with feedback that the # is from a known scammer. I e-mailed Zephel stating I could not call that #,
and he needs to call me. He has not responded to the message.

I also notice that Zephel is friends with xSoulgrinderx, a known scammer on this forum.


My gut tells me Zephel is not legit, and is shady on various levels. I am usually never wrong when I go with my gut.

Get onto paypal and get your money back asap

EyeofDC, your posts on various TRs are bordering on spam. As someone who joined only a week ago, your posting pattern is concerning. I would like to publicly make note of this and ask anyone who is trading with you to be careful.

To the OP, thanks for posting this warning. However unless I'm mistaken no trade took place, so I will lock this now that the facts are out.

This was a very premature call out in my opinion as there are also trade histories for me and xsouldgrinderx. Also, In my posting of the army, I specifically stated that the army was not mine and I was not the seller, I was putting it up for a friend to help him out. Of which, I will not do again as it is a hassle.

Keep to mind also, I got your pm on the 2nd of this month. Today is the 5th. Have patience with trades as not everything is so quickly responded to. I had personal issues that needed to be attended to.[/quote
