Hi all,

Im playing 40K since a year now. I started playing with the Dark Vengeance box and started buying units that i liked from there. Now i have created the following Army. Its a (hopefully fluffy) IW army list.
Do you think this list is competitive? What could i do to improve? I currently spend 1681/1850pt. Below the list i posted the remaining other models that i own. I am not planning to buy any new models soon

I like this list already. Maybe a black mace on the prince?
I like raptors, but thats just my opinion. I would definitely add cultists for back feild objectives, let them come in from reserves while you army moves forward

Looks a solid base to start from but a few questions:

What mark does your Prince have and where is his black mace?

You NEED mark of Burgle on those obliterators. The change in ID thresh hold is vital on the competitive scene with Riptides dropping S8 AP2 blasts everywhere.

You are lacking in ranged AT. So Terminators with Reaper it a cheap Termmuicide unit would be a decent way to fill up the points. Personally I like combis on the Champions in the CSM squad gives you that triple special weapon on the turn you need it most. For 10 points you increase the killing power of your unit by 50% on the turn you need it most. Always an auto include for me. Though upgrades on the Rhinos probably aren't worth it. I'd drop them.

The last as i posted in my post are the base units that i would like to use. Weapons, Marks etc are open for discussing.

I was thinking of giving the DP mark of tzeentch, rerolling on 1's is always good. Weapon choice is still open. Black mace could do.

Should read mark of Nurgle for Oblits stupid auto correct. Tzeentch is good on the Prince. As are psychic powers. Iron Arm makes a MASSIVE difference to him. Though Warp Speed and the mace can just be funny (potentially 15 attacks on the charge, potentially 13 SMASH attacks!!!)

Daemon prince will be Tzeentch and will have the black mace. Think indeed this is the best option.

One question, weren't the Iron warriors pre 6th CSM codex undivided? Isn't it strange (fluff-wise) to take marks now then?
