Hey Dakka!!!

So this Thread will very soon become my "Showcase", "Tactics", "Painting Q&A","Modeling Q&A", and possibly much more...
but overall this will become my Everything Tyranid Thread.

So lets start off with the List...
since im getting back into 40k (and I had sold off all my stuff because of what 6th did to nids) I will be creating a basic list of roughly 2k pts just from memory w/o any codex

HQ.
Hive Tyrant x1
Tyrant Gaurds x2

Elite
Haruspex 1 possibly 2 depending when i can see the book
Hive Gaurd 3
Zoanthrope 3 (if not taking 2nd Haruspex)

Troops
Warriors 3 2 groups
Termagant Brood 20 2 groups and taking Tervigon as troop is still possible
Genestealers 20 2 groups and possible broodlord in each

Fast Attack
Harpy / Crone depending on costs and I would like to magnetize the kit to alow for swaps

Heavy Support
Tyranofex 1
Carnifex 3 if he gets some buffs from new codex
Biovores 3 if the carnifex hasnt changed

Overall my tactic is to have some heavy fire from some monstrous creatures in the back to either lay down cover fire or pick off key targets. Thus keeping the "Big'Momma's" birthing as much as possible to have gaunts hold objectives and let genes wipe out remaining groups. and finally the harpy or crone for some air support / dominance.

So if I can find and gaming group in my area soon ill start buying kits and posting picks of the mods i do.
