Hello,
just started playing the game (I bought an X-wing miniature for my desk at work and became hooked by the look of the minis)
So here's my present list.

Rebel:
1 X-wing (core set)
2 X-wing
1 Millennium Falcon
1 A-wing

Imperial
2 TIE (core set)
2 TIE
1 TIE adv
2 TIE int

I'd like to add more ships but as I'm the only one hosting games, I'd like to make both fleet expand at the same time and possibily keeping them balanced.

I was thinking about adding:
1 more core set (1 X-wing + 2 TIE)
2 A-wing
2 Y-wing
2 B-wing
2 TIE int (imperial aces expansion)
2 TIE bombers

This will lead to the following fleets:

Rebels:
2 X-wing (core set)
2 X-wing
1 YT1300
3 A-wing
2 Y-wing
2 B-wing

Imperial:
4 TIE (core set)
2 TIE
1 TIE adv
4 TIE int
2 TIE bombers

Thanks for any suggestion

You really want b-wings.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I mean you should have them available. B-wings are awesome and go in a lot of popular rebel lists, with a variety of different upgrade choices/strategies. No rebel collection is complete without a pair of them, and 3-4 is ideal.

OK, B-wings added to the first message in thread... (if it was up to me, I'd get all of them, in hundreds... but then I have a mortgage to pay ).
If I add 2 x B-wings, what should I get for the Imperial fleet ?

You may want to try the Firespray-31. Adds some dimension.

You want 4 of everything. Except regular ties: you want 8 of those. Oh, falcons and Firesprays can be limited to 3. Each. That's pretty close to what I own, minus the third FS and Falcon. I have two of each and one lambda.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
