i have been pretty busy here lately working on projects.Thhe other day i was wanting to pick up some alies for my FJs,I was going through some of my books and seen that the Italian Folgore stayed allied to the Axis powers.
After a few hours of research i was impressed.Now i want to build atleast a platoon for starters to ally with my FJs for the soon to be Italy campaign.i know the new axis book they will have a indepentant list.But what i would like to do is get a little jump start.
So does anyone know of a LW list for the RSI folgore? i know they eventually were absorbed by theFJ 4 regiment Italy.Should i perhaps just use the FJ list for the FJ 1st diivision in Monte Cassino if i want to build a company or should i wait.
Another thing is that i want to do is paint them in another uniform color that N.Aferica style.I may use the uniform pattern of the BA models.
Also iseen that For BA they have some armed with Shreks andFaust and Eureka make some with faust.

The Folgore division got wiped out at Alamein, it was the Nembo division that survived and continued to fight for the Axis after the Italian surrender.

Anyway, there are some RSI intelligence briefings on the Battlefront website, at http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=217 According to that, an RSI briefing on the Nembo will be forthcoming shortly.

Thanks i did see the intel handout before.Thanks for clearing up the History for me.I guess i like the idea of having a Company name that fits with my FJs,GReen Devils and Red Devils.Even from what i read the modern day ones are even pretty cool.Lite cav element and a Para mountaineering specialists.Also they have alot of other things going for them.
