Guys! I bought some killa kans and Im wanting to start painting them. But how? This may seem like a strange question but how can you get the gore splattered look on something red?


Flames of war- USSR and UAR
x wing- customs= imperial rampant destroyer and tie geist and tie phantom.
proper models= x wing 5 the fighters 2 interceptors 2 bombers rebel transport y wing 3 b wings and tantive IV

well depending on how bright the red is you can always do darker for blood, maybe find a tutorial that does actual gore/goop for the blood

or do alien blood thats neon green or blue or something

I have half a mind to kill you, and the other half agrees

Problem with doing an alien blood is it doesn'tlook natural like red blood. So you'll always have to explain it away. Blood will be visible where you have scrapes and dings but if you're painting them red, then paint the gore reds in gloss. It'll stick out against the red paint. Not to mention if your red paint is a different shade then your blood reds will help with this too
