These are some fun rules to try out, and an idea of what I'd like to see if we get a book for Crimson Fists.

This is Blatant Wishlisting and I'm shameless about that. Hopefully, they're at least somewhat reasonable. Enjoy!

Spoiler:

Army Special Rules

He’s named already, damnit!:

While the Crimson Fists are a codex Chapter, they have a named, unique character as their chapter master. For this reason, they may not make use of the generic Chapter Master found in the Codex: Space Marines.

You must hold the Line!

The Crimson Fists can elect D3 non-scoring, non-vehicle units to become scoring units. These can be Independent Characters, but not your Warlord. If these units are destroyed, they yield a victory point. Note that while these squads can form combat-squads, they yield a victory point each if destroyed.

Veterans of the gorge:

3 point per model upgrade for Sternguard, 1 Point Upgrade for Vanguard with the Imperial Fists Chapter Tactics.

Units with this upgrade have Preferred Enemy (Orks) and re-roll all 1’s to hit with special issue ammunition.

An Abundance of Technicians
For 15 points, any Veteran Sergeant may be upgraded to an Apothecary. Apothecaries are identical to veteran sergeants, but have a narthecium instead of either their Boltgun or bolt pistol.
For Every HQ, two techmarines may be taken instead of one.

Chapter Relics

Hand Of Retribution… 50 points

The Hand of retribution is an age-old Power fist. It was once lost on a space hulk, but was recovered by the death-watch and returned to the chapter. The Fist is famous for being surprisingly easy to wield. This weapon has the following profile:

Hand Of Retribution: S User*2 AP2 Mêlée, Master crafted

Traitor’s Bane… 45 points

Traitor’s Bane is a powerful Crozius Arcanum that has been wielded by the chapter’s best and brightest Chaplains.

Traitor’s Bane: S User+2 AP4 Mêlée, Master Crafted, Relic of the Reclusiam

Relic of the Reclusiam: The chaplain wielding this Crozius Arcanum benefits from an extra point of BS, W and A.
Designer’s note: This makes a Chaplain equivalent to a Reclusiarch as found in the Blood Angels Codex. Base, this unit costs 135 points, so is slightly more expensive than that of a basic Reclusiarch. No, it is not ridiculous.

Essence of Rynn’s Might… 30 points.

Rynn’s might was a powerful land raider that was flung from the Arx Tyrranus when the tower was destroyed. The Land Raider then embarked on a solo crusade to wreak as much destruction upon the Most Hated Foe as it could. While the Land Raider sacrificed itself to defeat an Ork Warlord in one last act of defiance, it’s Machine Spirit was recovered and has since been interred into new Land Raiders so That it may again destroy the enemies of Mankind.

This Land Raider Benefits from the Preferred enemy (orks) special Rule as well as ignoring Crew Shaken and Stunned Results. It May Also Fire one more weapon than would normally be allowed, fired at the same target as that fired by Power of the Machine Spirit.

Captain Alessio Cortez… 200 points

WS6 BS5 S4 T4 W4 I5 A3 Ld10 Sv3+4++

Special Rules
It Will Not Die, Feel No Pain, Death Throws, And They Shall Know No Fear, Independent Character, Chapter Tactics (Imperial Fists), Controlled Fearlessness.

Death Throws (Pun Intended):
Should Alessio Cortex be killed while involved in a challenge and having not already struck blows, he may strike blows as if he had not been killed. Remove him from play after this.

Controlled Fearlessness
Cortez has the Fearless USR. However, if Cortez is joined to a unit, he is no longer fearless, as he does not wish to risk the lives of his men.

Wargear:
Master-crafted Power Fist and Master-crafted Bolt Pistol, Power Armour, Iron Halo.
Designers Note on Price Breakdown:
100 points for captain, 35 for MC BP and PF, 45 for IWND and FNP and 10 for the extra wound 10 for quasi-fearless
